Emily Suhr represents public entities and their employees in civil rights cases. She is an experienced litigator and advocate who has successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Suhr has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Studies from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. She graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2015. During law school Ms. Suhr earned several Moot Court awards and interned at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Suhr is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard.
Ms. Suhr is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
