Kimberly Sarmiento joined CRD in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the Criminal Branch at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office where she assisted misdemeanor prosecutors with addressing quality of life and public safety issues throughout the city.
Mrs. Sarmiento earned a BA in Political Science from UC Irvine and her JD from Southwestern Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 2022. During law school, she held various leadership roles on campus, serving as a Teaching and Research Assistant, Writing Fellow, and Dean’s Fellow. She was also a staff writer and the Notes and Comments Editor for Southwestern Law Review.
Mrs. Sarmiento is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California.
